To all best friends in the world

I found these in my old notes when I was cleaning my room yesterday. it was a short poem I wrote for my best friend. I supposed to read it or give it to him on his wedding day. but somehow I jus forgot...lol

I believe in life there are really are bounds form that cannot be broken.
If you're lucky you're really can find a person who will stand by you no matter what

maybe you'll find it in a spouse
and celebrate it with your dreamed wedding.

but there's also a change that the one person you can count on for a life time,
a one person who knows you, sometimes better than you know your self,
is the same person whose been standing beside you all along.

Your best friend...
because Friendship .....never last.

STOP BULLYING

The Girl you just called fat? She's starved herself & lost 15kgs.
The Boy you just called stupid? He has a learning disability & studies 4hrs a night.
The Girl you just called ugly? She spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her.....
The Boy you just tripped? He is already abused enough at home.
There's more to people than you think.
coz beauty is only skin deep.

Re post this if you're against bullying

Jakarta, my city....where manners are gone :)

I was on my way home from a place in north Jakarta. It was 05.00 pm and I knew if i took a cab I would be stuck in Jakarta's traffic for hours. So I took another option. I took our beloved public transportation, TRANSJAKARTA Bus.

I get on the bus as soon as i bought the ticket. The bus was not crowded, but there were no more seat for me so I had to stand.

Being a loyal passenger of Transjakarta services, I knew a few tricks to get a seat as soon as possible. So I start to observe all passenger, looking for a person that I knew will get off the bus soon. I look for a person who always looking to the front window. So I made my choice, I stand in front of a man who keeps looking to the front windows with a nervous look, afraid of missing his stop.

The bus is getting more crowd as it headed to Kelapa gading stops, and I knew I'm getting my seat soon:) .meanwhile I took a little look around to make sure my seat is safe, besides me there is just two other passenger that still don't get a seat, a women with a hijab (jilbab) who was standing about a step away in my left side and a man in my right sides.

And I was right, as soon as the bus reached the KG station the man in front of me rise in a hurry to get off the bus. Being the person that stand in front of him first I was sure enough that the seat was mine, but as i looked around once again I realize that being a gentleman I was suppose to give my seat to the lady who wear hijab. And in my mind I decided to give her my seat. The man on the X seat was already fully arise, and I was on my way to give away the seat with a nod to the lady, when all of a sudden (without any hesitation) the lady move in a fast motion (kinda push me) to get the seat...My God, she think I wanna take the seat so she must seize it from me, and I wasalready on my way to give her that seat....And than she gave me a " I was here first, so this is my seat" eye..what a...*&^%!@@##(saying inappropriate words my mind...lol)

as the bus reached the KG station the bus was already full and I was holding to the passengers grip so I wont fall. I look at the hijab lady, and she was sleeping. and the next destination is Cempaka putih station. and as the bus get more crowded I had to scrape to the right a little, and in front of me now is an old lady. and she gave me a "You can take my seat when I get off at the next stops" eye. I smiled.

10 minute later, the old lady arise. this is her stop. Being experienced in seat sabotage, I was making a "this is my seat" eyes to other passenger who starts noticing the soon to be empty seat. Kinda fell like a lioness protecting her cubs hahahaha. And .....YES.....FINALLY, I got my seat.

I was just being comfort with my seat when I saw a girl (kinda pretty) standing not far from me. She's a college student, I noticed the heavy books with a big CROSS logo on it ( a very famous Christian Academy) in her right hand while her left hand is holding the passenger's grip. She look tired. Jammed in a human ocean. kinda like sardines..

And of course, once again, being a gentleman. I stood up and gave her my seat with a smile on my face saying " go ahead miss, take my seat".

And so that girl took my seat. And as soon as her backside touch the comfort of the bus seat, without even having a glance toward me she put her bag on her laps and took her Black Berry out of it and start the Phenomenal Black Berry Autism. No thank you, not even a single smile or even a nod. What a .......#@##$$%&^^*. LOL

O...MY...GOD...what happen to these people? Didn't your parents teach you about manners??? Say thanks when people give you something, use your right hand to shake others and your left for the toilet needs..(giggles). Please...get a manner lessons.

I miss the old Jakarta, where people smile's and a slight of thank you was not an expensive think.

ANOTHER CASE OF OMNI INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL

These days the world eyes is pointing in one of the biggest issue in Information and Technologies Head news.. Prita Mulyasari and her email phenomenon. She was sent to jail for complaining OMNI international Hospital Tangerang services.

For the world, and Indonesian people especially, Prita Mulyani's news is a new melodrama cause (at least thats what the media do). but yes, she got a lot of support and attention from all over the world. To her justice is right in front of her eyes since now her cause is rising to the top, all she have to do is wait...and deep inside our heart we know she's going to win..but what about my family's cause with the same hospital?

It Happens 6 months ago at Omni International Hospital in Pulomas, east Jakarta. I was getting ready for a church meeting when I heard the phone rings...its my father who's calling, he said that Daniel is in the Hospital, and he wasn't doing great. Daniel is my cousin, he is my unlce's son..the only one left since his two other sons went to USA and not be able to come home fo another 5 years. To me Danny (thats how we call him) is more like a brother, since his the only male cousin that I used to hang with.

I get to the Hospital as fast as i could...His In the ICU at that time..I opened the door and there he was. He tried to smile even though I can see clearly his not doing so great, but he tried to hide it. The first line he said when he saw me was..."is everyone here?, I just made all of you panicked am I?" I said "Yes, and you are gonna pay for this, so get well as soon as possible so I can kick your ass!" than we laugh.

After a few minutes chat i decided to walk out since the nurses is trying to do some medical thing. Outside i was surprised to see my uncle, my dad and my aunt standing in front of the door my dad and my aunt was trying to comfort my uncle..he was crying, so I said "whats a matter?" coz as far as i knew danny was doing OK, at least he's still alive (that's what i thought at that time). Than i knew it...somethings wrong...whats with the crying??

My uncle said the doctor told him that danny got a heart failure....and the hospital don't have the right equipment to support his live and to do the operation procedure to help him..I said "but this is an International Hospital, how can they don't have the equipment?" but there is no answer.

So we've decided to move him to another hospital, RS Harapan kita was chosen by my family as the OMNI International Hospital recommendation . its 08.00 pm at that time.
I looked my watch...its 08.30 why they haven't move him..My brother and I tried to get some Information from the doctor, He said that we must wait until Danny's condition is stabilize. at 09.00 pm we asked the same question to the doctor and then to the nurses..we have another answer...they said that Danny's condition is stabilize and now we wait for the ambulance to take him to Harapan Kita Hospital. after that we asked the same question for about a dozen times, and we still get the same answer...we have to wait for the ambulance. At that time I was alredy begin to loose control of my self..this International Hospital only have two ambulance, one ambulance is taking bloods stock to indonesian Red Cross (PMI) and the other don't have a driver...we dont know whats seems to be the problem. there is even one time that the OMNI staff look so bothered by the way I keep on asking when the ambulance gonna be here that she said " its gonna cost extra for the ambulance, you have pay first" God...I mean we can pay for it, at that time money was not an object to my family, the most important thing is Danny's live.

10.30 pm, My brother loose controlled, he almost punch the doctor in the face coz we still got the same answer, that the ambulance was not here yet. While my brother and my other cousins argue with the staff, i tried another way, I go to the parking lot to wait for the ambulance...I did that to calm my self...

There I was, In the front gate of the OMNI Int. entrance gate...and I can't even believed what I saw... There was 2 ambulance parked there...2 damn ambulance parked in the ER parking lot.

11.00 pm, the OMNI staff told us that they decided to use the public ambulance 108 to transfer Danny, and I said duh....where the hell have you been?

12.00 pm, the ambulance is finally arrived at the hospital after 4 hour of waiting...We were scared to death at the time...wondering what would happen in our way to the other hospital. We were running out of time... Harapan Kita Hospital called that they had been waiting for us since 09.00 pm and they're ready to operate Danny as soon as possible. we watched him as the nurses took him to the ambulance .He was smiling and gave us a thumb "it's going to be OK, your the best ,dad" he said to my uncle.

12.30, we arrived at Harapan Kita Hospital, they took him to ER while preparing for the operation, but we were to late. Danny's vital were already drops....an hour later he passed away in my arms......

we lost him.....

5 days after the funeral. we got a call from OMNI International Hospital. they said that there some unpaid bill for Danny's medical treatment that we have to pay... My uncle was so furious, but we go there anyway to settle the bills and made a complaint directly to their management about their unsatisfying services. There is no satisfying answer from the OMNI management and we decided to go further with our complaint by writing to KOMPAS...still no satisfying answer until now...

after we settled the hospital bills we go back home, Iwas staying with my uncle for a while because he lived only with his wife and I need to be there for him. When we got home I accidentally take look at the hospital bill that the OMNI gave us....and than I saw it... they charge us for morgue.....how can they charge us for morgue while Danny passed away in another hospital..He didn't pass away in that lousy hospital...My uncle was running out tears...and I didn't said a word...

Its been six month since Danny pass away. We saw Prita Mulyasari on TV, that poor woman was jailed for complaining about OMNI's services...I saw the look on my uncle's and my aunt's eyes..they were reminded of their son...

I wish Prita Mulyasari win her case, not because we still feel the bitter of Danny's death. but only for a little piece of mind. So we know that it will not happen to anybody else...
